Sarah L. Mathews
Associate Attorney
Sarah L. Mathews is an attorney licensed to practice law in Washington, Utah, and California. Sarah received her bachelor’s degree in economics from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, and her juris doctorate from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law in 2002.
Prior to joining Pettis Webber Pacific, Sarah started her career as a solo practitioner in the areas of divorce and family law, civil work, and appeals. She joined a small firm in Salt Lake in 2005, then became a partner in 2008, with her practice focused primarily on bankruptcy and appeals. She and her husband and two sons moved to the Vancouver area in August 2020. They love their new hometown and are continuing to explore and discover the beautiful Pacific northwest.
Sarah is thrilled to be a part of the PWP team. After helping to care for her mother during her struggle with Alzheimer’s, and witnessing within her own family how crucial quality estate planning can be, she has gained a passion for understanding the complex area of estate planning and creating solutions for each client’s unique circumstances.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, whether camping at the coast, paddling kayaks or boards, exploring hikes closer to home, or just sitting down to a movie at home. She always has a book on her night stand loves to bake and cook.
