Financing Your Consultation
Sometimes we hear that people are afraid to call because they are fearful of attorney fees. Attorney’s fees can seem complicated and overwhelming, especially if you are unaccustomed to the ethical restraints we have. We will discuss fees fully with you at the first attorney meeting so you can make a wise decision to invest in working with us.
How You Can Get Your Initial Meeting with Legal Assistant: We want you to feel comfortable in choosing us. To help you determine if our services are the right fit for you, we invite you to a preliminary phone consultation with our staff at no charge. When you call, one of our law office team members will ask you a series of questions so that we can confirm that we are the right fit and can help you. Maybe you want to save money, or explore options, or implement a unique plan. We can’t help unless you call today. If we can’t help, we’ll try to refer you to an office that better suits your needs.
Our hope is to maximize our in-person time together and minimize fees as much as possible. In that regard, when you come to our office, we will be jumping right to the core of your situation during your first in-person consultation with Beckie or Karen. Before our meeting, we will provide you with a questionnaire to evaluate your needs. Please bring that and all other pertinent information to our first appointment. Where other offices may offer a free initial “get to meet you” meeting, we feel it is much more effective and respectful to assess your needs and begin finding solutions at our first meeting. See our seminar page for another way to meet us!
Our goal is to have an attorney fully explain fees to you at the initial meeting so you will have a full understanding upfront. We use blended rates of attorney, law student, legal assistant and administrative assistant time which helps to minimize overall project cost and maximize efficiency.
Our goal is to see your financial benefits and savings outweigh any fees incurred by legal services.
The cost of a plan for one person may be drastically different than a plan for someone else. Each plan is based on each client’s wishes, assets and circumstances. At our first meeting, once we have reviewed your situation, considered your options and determined your needs, we will be able to more accurately project costs and we’ll discuss them with you.
