Ian E. Anderson relocated to Washington in January 2017, and was formerly a resident of Tucson, Arizona. He is admitted to practice in Washington and Arizona. Before moving to Washington, Ian practiced in estate planning, probate, and guardianship in Arizona, which he called home for almost 25 years.
Ian is a graduate of Arizona Summit Law School in Phoenix, Arizona, which is where he began working with Native American tribes across Arizona offering pro bono estate planning services. He is actively working to establish a similar program to serve Southern Washington tribes. Ian has worked in various law firms specializing in estate matters and most recently worked for the Washington State Attorney General’s Office handling juvenile dependency matters.
When away from the office, Ian enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest’s amazing hiking trails and beautiful scenery. He’s happiest at the ocean or around any body of water. He strives to travel more to explore different parts of the world and learn about different cultures. Ian is a father to two beautiful daughters and an amazing dog which he affectionately refers to as “Puppers”.
Ian’s goals are to become a highly respected attorney and a leader in his community. He understands that the law is often cumbersome and complex and wants to work with clients to help them navigate the process together.
